Bardstown Craft Fair 2018

My wife is happy to be visiting with her friend and daughter at our local Bardstown Craft Fair.
Such a nice little town.
Thirty two years of marital bliss.
The goal of a marriage is to become one and through life’s many twists and turns we have honored the One who makes such things come true . Oh and the furry friend is our new addition , Olivia .
To live in such a patiaotic small town has been such a blessing . Everyone talks about the natural beauty but the true treasure of Bardstown is its wonderful people.
Each October the streets downtown become filled with visitors , as they mix with locals , to see the many offerings from folks in an event called the Bardstown Craft Fair .
Everyone comes to interact .
Like a scene that has played out since forever, no gathering would be complete without the smell of meat searing on a grill wafting through the air.
No words can adequately do justice to such a fine sight.

Looking for our son and his wife who are coming to spend some time with us .
My wife took time to strike a pose with our son and his wife ( a wonderful local girl ) before we entered in. Striking a pose in our family after years of a man with a camera ( me ) requesting pictures is somewhat of the running family joke . Just one more words of normalcy.
Our son Kyle and his lovely wife Serena. There love was destined to be , in councils long ago , from deep places where wonder is forged.
If only we could all live in the present as this little one. My wife’s friends daughter .
Chairs , transportation and refuse collection , all so human .
Everyone was bundled up and the fall chill was enhanced with overcast skies.
There are untold numbers of booths to see , foods to sample and people to talk to.
Our son being 6 ‘ 5” has a natural navigational advantage. The aspects of this photo I enjoy are the movement of the crowd , Kyle the central focal point and the light to the right . Also the girl whose radar I have obviously aroused.
Well placed ATM’s are a well thought out detail.
The people here , many who are visitors are extremely awesome.
To offset men’s fascination with smoke and meat women love to visit the more refined aspects of life in the form of fashion .
Corn stalks and fall apparel complete with food vendors all wrapped up nicely in small town charm.
The wonder of the many different foods abound.
Fun family times are nurtured with love and cemented in memories of great food. As the beautiful fall weather and small town charm begin to weave together memories that will last a lifetime.
