Snow Images
If it's true that everything is really interconnected , which being God creation , it really is . Then it would be reasonably safe to postulate that we can indeed find complex complete stories of His handiwork in even the smallest of scenes. We often travel miles lookng for the seemingly perfect location to take pictures when in reality its oftenright before us all the time.
A fallen winter twig has fallen onto the snow and as the storm progressed it partially fell into the snow. Surrounded by the small holes from the melting snow above on larger limbs . The shadows and glistening snow make for a beautifully powerful image, a visual story of just how wonderfully complex life itself really is.
One can sense the crisp cold air and stillness of a snow storm long since gone. The bark of the tree shed and its available limbs ready for any snow that drifts from the sky . Puffy white clouds in the background add to the majesty.
Projecting up the verge of a long ago cut field add such mystery to this image. The finally shining snow and wind swept small hollows creating a fine interplay of shadows. Even the ice frozen on the grass adds to this picturesque story.
Small prints from a creature in the snow lead off into the tall strands of snow covered brush. There is a serene stillness within the picture as the tree-line and blue sky come into view. Crisp and very cold the field does what is has done for a thousand years.
The glistening snow here mixes into the cut field with so many wonderful perfect irregularities. Speaking so powerfully of the seasons we see unfold year after year. Its as if God is telling us we can find His purposes in each and every season of our own lives , if we will but look.
I never tire of seeing. It has become such a force of habit for me and such a passion that I see everything now as a still picture. I see the handiwork of God at work and see so many lessons from His world around me. Frankly its quite peaceful.
This is one of my favorite images as it shows the upper limbs adorned with the remaining ice from an ice storm. It speaks of freezing rain . out stretched branches in ice against a clear crisp blue sky with white clouds.
When I see how perfectly round these ice coverings line every single branch I am so amazed. To me its as if nature herself has adorned the barren bushes for nothing more than sheer enjoyment. As the sun peeks on and out each and everyone glistens with so much radiance .
Every creature is keenly aware of its natural world. A bird seem to enjoy its morning walk on the just cleaned side walk. Prints made by such a light creature to make such a heavy statement.
This image has so much to say about the balance of nature. With the snow storm and winds now gone the warmth of the sun brings the snows retreat. Even the ice finds its power to much as against a blue sky they diminish.Yet its very cold and crisp outside so it will take time . Its at these sublime moments within the changing off the weather I find so much beauty.
The abandoned birds next to the right , once a home for a young family , sits lonely upon these winter branches.The shed bark from the tree holds small patches of snow. Against the back drop of blue sky and white clouds within the crisp cold still winter air the sun announces its presence.
The suns fingers of radient warmth and light glisten off the icey branches. The clean crisp air and quiet adds to the majesty. This is natures show to the observant and a hallowed hall for those seeking its peace.
If saying more with less were the category the beauty in this image would need to be considered. So much so that my words on it end here.
I love the blue sky and white clouds here. The air was very crisp clean and cold. In about a half hour the clouds were gone. What did remain were the icy thin branches.
