I love the subtle yet often powerful changes in light. This winters fall morning sunrise created shadows and such beauty in the extreme cold weather.
I spend a lot of timne here it s close to home

This small stand of fall trees on the forests edge was tremendously moving. Its immense presence was not only capturing my eyes but my emotions as well.

The stillness in the snow and the beautful sunset were so beautuful.
We all have these natural desires to walk and explore within the forest. Complete as it is with its many smells ,sights and sounds. Here we learn it isnt so much about arrival but the journey.
If your eyes were starving and your soul hungry for natures bounty a walk though Bernheim would more than satisfy your need.

One of my favorite fall pictures because of the way it incorporates the shadows and light into the pictures overall statement . Its the perfect balance between the complex , and simple story of fall. With the tree in shade spreading its orange yellow leaves into the sun as if to show its awareness of whats really going on here.
